Any Attack on Us Is a 'Red Line', We Will Not Leave It Unattended - Iranian Foreign Ministry

Any attack on Iran by Israel is a "red line" that will be met with a proportionate response, though Tehran will not rush into action. This was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.

"If Israel attacks us, we are fully prepared to respond. We will respond appropriately, but we hope that Israel will not test our readiness," Araqchi said in an interview with a Turkish television channel.

"Any attack against Iran is a 'red line' for us. We will not leave such an attack unanswered. There will be a necessary response to any attack on Iran's nuclear facilities or similar attacks, and Israel will receive a symmetrical response. We will not shy away from a symmetrical response; we will not delay, but we will not rush either," the minister added.

Araqchi emphasized that 90% of the missiles launched by Iran in its recent operations have hit their targets. "At that time, we did not strike any economic or civilian objects; the targets were exclusively military objects. We have now identified all of Israel's targets. In the event of an Israeli attack, we will strike their targets in the same manner," the minister stated.

In response to a question about why Israel has not yet struck Iran 19 days later, Araqchi pointed to the immense international pressure on Tel Aviv.
