345,000 Residents to Face Catastrophic Famine This Winter, Says UN
The United Nations has warned about the impending catastrophic famine in Gaza. According to an assessment supported by the UN, around 345,000 residents in Gaza will confront severe famine this coming winter as humanitarian aid supplies are set to cease.
Based on a classification created by UN agencies and NGOs, more than 133,000 people are currently categorized as being in severe food deficiency.
