Video footage had circulated in the media showing a woman painting over the portraits of participants in the 44-day war on a building on Pushkin Street in Yerevan.

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Narek Sargsyan, wrote on his Facebook page that thanks to extensive operational intelligence measures undertaken by the police officers of Yerevan City Division and the Central Division, a 62-year-old resident of the capital, Hasmik G., was recently identified and arrested on suspicion of vandalism.

She and the compiled documents will be presented to the Investigative Committee.
