Iran Prohibits Electronic Communication Devices on Airplanes

Iran has banned the transport of electronic communication devices on airplanes, with the exception of mobile phones. This was announced by Jahfar Yazarlu, the official representative of the country's civil aviation organization.

Yazarlu's statement comes amidst escalating tensions in the Middle East, following Iran's missile strikes on Israeli territory at the beginning of October and a mass explosion of pagers in Lebanon.
