Earthquake in Armenia
An earthquake occurred 21 km northwest of the town of Jermuk on October 12 at 18:17 local time (14:17 GMT). According to the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations' Seismic Protection Territorial Service, the earthquake was recorded at geographical coordinates of 39.89° latitude and 45.44° longitude, with a depth of 10 km and a magnitude of 2.1.
The intensity of the earthquake in the epicentral area was measured at 2-3 points. The tremors were felt in the towns of Jermuk and Yeghegnadzor, as well as in the villages of Artabuynk, Hermon, and Arates, with an intensity of 2-3 points.
