The United States is monitoring the situation in the Middle East closely, emphasizing its intent to continue supporting Israel's security. This was stated by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

“We are certainly watching the events unfolding in the Middle East very closely. The United States is committed to ensuring Israel’s security. As I mentioned, we are watching the developments very closely,” said the head of American diplomacy.

On September 23, the Israel Defense Forces launched Operation "Northern Arrow" against Hezbollah formations, during which mass airstrikes targeted military sites belonging to the Lebanese Shiite movement. On September 27, one of the strikes in Beirut resulted in the death of Hezbollah's Secretary General Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah.
