How Many Persons Displaced from Artsakh Have Received Armenian Citizenship

3226 individuals displaced from Artsakh have received Armenian citizenship. This was stated by Nelly Davtyan, Deputy Head of the Migration and Citizenship Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.

"A total of 4918 individuals have applied for Armenian citizenship. According to the latest data, 3226 individuals (displaced from Artsakh) have been granted Armenian citizenship by presidential decree. 83 individuals have withdrawn their applications, but the reasons are unknown," said Davtyan.

She also reported that, according to the most recent updates, 115,359 citizens have been forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, of which 30,306 are minors. Temporary protection certificates have been issued to 103,590 individuals.

Davtyan added that on September 26 alone, 46 applications for Armenian citizenship were accepted.
