The Cause of the 10-Year-Old Girl's Coma Revealed

A mysterious incident occurred at one of the schools in the Ararat region. A 10-year-old girl has been in a coma for the past six days.

The child's aunt informed Shamshyan.com that on September 19, the 10-year-old girl of her brother visited Vedi Secondary School No. 2. At 1 PM, they called the girl's sister and said that the child was being transferred to Vedi Medical Center, but there was nothing serious, and the parents should come there.

According to the aunt, the child's right arm was broken, the skull was fractured in three places, and the girl was in a coma. Currently, the child is at the Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center in Yerevan.

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed Auroranews that they had received a report from Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center stating that an unconscious minor born in 2015 had been transferred to them. The child’s health condition was assessed as critical.

The investigative team established that around 1:15 PM, she allegedly leaned against the railing of the second-floor staircase and fell onto the stairs of the first floor, sustaining injuries. Documentation has been prepared and sent to the Vedi investigative department.
