Azerbaijan's Aliyev: All Unagreed Provisions Removed from Peace Agreement with Armenia

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev addressed the issue of normalizing relations with Armenia during his speech at the first session of the 7th convocation of the Milli Majlis.

“Until now (regarding the peace agreement), there have been 10 exchanges of comments after the first draft was sent to Armenia. Naturally, over the months, we expected that Armenia would work more operationally and flexibly. But we saw exactly the opposite. We had to wait 70 days to receive their final version. All unagreed provisions have been removed from the peace agreement as per their presented version. We did not expect such a simplistic and inadequate step,” said Aliyev.
