Zahharova: It is Amazing That Armenia's Political Leadership Does Not Respond to That Statement

The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, has commented on the statement made by French Foreign Minister Stéphane Séjourné in Yerevan. Séjourné claimed that Russia exhibits hostility towards Armenia and seeks to exert pressure.

“This is an absolutely incompetent diplomat's statement. It is amazing that our allies, our brothers, our neighbors—the political leadership of Armenia—do not respond to that statement. This individual has once again demonstrated his incompetence and lack of knowledge of history. We witnessed the disgrace at an international event in Paris. Instead of making such statements, they should correct their own mistakes,” said Zakharova.
