Zatuliny on Pashinyan's 'Fart'
The Prime Minister of Armenia is evidently challenging Russia, but there is no sense in responding to his every 'fart,' said Konstantin Zatuliny, the first deputy chairman of the State Duma's committee on CIS affairs, in an interview with RTVI, commenting on Pashinyan's statement.
'Armenia has suspended its membership in the CSTO, as this organization posed threats to the security and sovereignty of the republic,' Pashinyan stated yesterday.
'He was a marginal journalist and even back then insisted that Armenia should stop focusing on Russia, withdraw from the CSTO, dismantle the base in Gyumri, and so on. He made these statements as an opposition figure, who was not listened to by many. His emergence as prime minister in 2018 was followed by a brief period of false assurances of friendship, and now he has returned to himself,' Zatuliny noted.
