Tragic Incident in Sarigyugh: One Dead Due to Road Explosion

Today, September 17, a tragic incident occurred in the Tavush region of Armenia. Around 5:00 PM, operational information was received at the Tavush regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ijevan police station regarding an explosion during road construction works in the Sarigyugh locality.

According to Shamshyan.com, police and patrol officers on-site established that the explosion was carried out by "Nor Tegh Shin" LLC in order to build a road at the end of the mentioned village. As a result of the explosion, a stone fragment was blasted approximately 250-300 meters away from the explosion site and struck a company employee, 27-year-old Edgar N., a resident of the Tavush region, on the head, leading to his death on the spot.
