Body of 22-Year-Old Found in Arzni Hydro Power Plant Water Channel

A tragic incident occurred today, September 17, in the Kotayk region.

Around 16:00, operational information was received at the Nor Hachn division of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, indicating that there was a body in the water channel of the Arzni Hydro Power Plant located in the Pargevashen neighborhood of Nor Hachn.

According to Shamshyan.com, it has been established that the deceased is 22-year-old Davit Gh., a resident of the Kotayk region, who had been reported missing since this morning.

Preliminary conclusions by the forensic examiner indicate that no signs of violence were found on the body upon external inspection.

A criminal case has been initiated in connection with the incident.

By the investigator’s decision, a forensic examination of the body has been ordered.
