Israeli intelligence services initially placed explosive devices in pages that were subsequently supplied to Hezbollah. According to Sky News Arabia, the Israeli Mossad inserted PETN chemical substance into the batteries of these pages, which led to their explosion due to a sudden rise in the batteries' temperature, triggered remotely by Israeli intelligence experts.
