Central Bank Issues Warning

The Central Bank of Armenia has revealed that there has been an increase in attempts by fraudsters to obtain personal and banking information in recent times. Specifically, scammers are establishing contact with citizens through fake phone calls and various correspondence, posing as employees of financial institutions. They send links and urge individuals to click on them, fill in their personal/banking details, thereby gaining access to citizens' financial resources.

"We urge everyone to remain vigilant and under no circumstances take the following actions: do not provide any personal banking information to anyone, do not click on unknown and suspicious links, and do not activate received unknown and unexpected confirmation codes," the statement emphasizes.
