A Powerful Magnetic Storm Has Started on Earth

A powerful magnetic storm, nearly at maximum levels, has begun on Earth after the Sun recently emitted a plasma cloud. This was reported by the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

After remaining in the outer regions of the solar plasma cloud for 10 hours, the planet was eventually caught by the core of the ejection.

The surge in the parameters of the surrounding cosmic gas was recorded at approximately 02:30 Yerevan time, while more significant changes occurred around 5:30 in the morning. According to laboratory data, this moment was recorded by ground magnetometers as the start of a magnetic storm at level 3.66 (almost four on a five-point scale).

At this moment, the event is still ongoing, although it is not expected to last long. Nevertheless, the primary masses of plasma have already passed alongside the planet. It is noted that very strong auroras are still observed in the Western Hemisphere, covering the entire territory of Canada down to its southern border, as well as the northern states of the USA.
