What is the Condition of Those Injured in the Explosion at Hrazdan Thermal Power Plant?

One of the victims injured in the explosion at the non-operational foundry of Hrazdan Thermal Power Plant has undergone surgery and is currently in stable serious condition. This information was provided to Sputnik Armenia by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.

“One victim, whose health was extremely critical yesterday, is now in stable serious condition. He has undergone surgery, which was successful, and he is conscious. The health condition of two other patients is assessed as moderate, and planned surgeries are scheduled for the coming days, while the other two are in mild condition,” the ministry stated.

It is noteworthy that the explosion occurred on September 10. As a result, one person has died and five have been injured.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Article 355, Part 2 of the RA Criminal Code (violating safety or protection rules during the execution of construction, mining, or other works that inadvertently led to a person's death or other serious consequences). The circumstances and causes of the incident are being investigated.
