Photos: Greece Loses Over 30 Military Helicopters Due to Floods

As a result of the recent floods, 30 military reconnaissance helicopters of the OH-58D Kiowa type have been taken out of service at the Stefanovikio military base in Greece. Overall, approximately 40 percent of the Kiowa helicopters acquired from the United States have been rendered inoperable.

The floods have also resulted in the loss of 3-6 Apache-type combat helicopters, and the infrastructure at the Stefanovikio military base has sustained damage.
