Russian Ministry of Defense Issues Statement

The Russian military has taken control of the Novogrodivka settlement in the Donetsk People's Republic. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"The Novogrodivka settlement has been liberated as a result of the active actions of the 'Center' group of forces units," the statement said.

Recall that on the early morning of February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced his decision to launch a special military operation against Ukraine, as the LPR and DPR had requested assistance.
