Russian Army's Vulnerability Revealed: UK-US Insights
British and US intelligence leaders have announced that Ukraine's unexpected incursion into Russia was a significant achievement that could change the course of the war. Richard Moore, head of the UK's secret intelligence service, stated that in August, Kyiv's offensive aimed at capturing territories in the Kursk region was a bold move by Ukrainians to 'try to change the game.'
He remarked that the assault 'brought the war home to ordinary Russians.' During a joint public event in London, CIA Director William Burns emphasized that the attack was a 'substantial gain' that revealed the vulnerabilities of the Russian army. Burns also noted that the West must 'understand' the risks of escalation but should not fear the Russian threat.
It has been a month since the Ukrainian army invaded Russia.
