Iran Responds to Reports of Ballistic Missile Transfer to Russia
The Iranian mission to the United Nations has denied reports from Western media about an alleged transfer of ballistic missiles to Russia, stating that Tehran's position on the Ukrainian conflict remains unchanged.
Earlier, CNN, citing sources, reported that Iran had delivered short-range ballistic missiles to Russia for use in combat operations in Ukraine.
"Iran's position on the Ukrainian conflict remains unchanged. Iran considers providing military assistance to the warring parties as inhumane, leading to an increase in casualties, destruction of infrastructure, and hindering negotiations for a ceasefire. Not only does Iran refrain from such actions, but it also calls on other countries to stop supplying weapons to the conflicting parties," the Iranian mission stated in a comment to reporters regarding the publications.
