The Possibility of Provocation by Azerbaijan is Theoretical: Yeghoyan

Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense disseminates misinformation claiming that the Armed Forces of Armenia have opened fire towards Azerbaijani positions. Such statements aim to create an information favorable environment for any potential aggressive actions they might undertake if a political decision is made.

This was stated by Arman Yeghoyan, the head of the Permanent Commission on European Integration of the National Assembly, during a briefing with journalists.

He noted, 'In the context of negotiations for a peace treaty, resorting to such provocation is theoretically possible.'
