It Is Only Possible to Imagine What Will Happen If We Give A Mirror Response: Putin

The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, has suggested considering the potential mirror response of the country to Ukraine's attacks on the Zaporizhzhia and Kursk nuclear power plants. He discussed this topic during the Eastern Economic Forum, referring to the actions of the Ukrainian armed forces as 'very dangerous terrorist acts.'

'It is only possible to imagine what will happen if we give a mirror response. What will happen to all of Europe?' the Russian leader noted. In his speech, he also called on Russian troops to 'drive the enemy out' from the border areas of the Kursk region, and in commenting on the significant losses of the Ukrainian armed forces, he likened the Ukrainian authorities to extraterrestrials and foreigners, as they do not care for their own people.

According to Putin, the enemy attempted to distract Russia from its offensive in Donbas by attacking the Kursk region. However, he stated that they achieved nothing. 'The enemy's goal was to irritate us, to create turmoil, to move troops from one area to another, and to halt our offensive in key directions, primarily in Donbas, the liberation of which is our primary goal. Did it work or not? No, the enemy has failed,' the state leader said.

Putin emphasized that the Russian Armed Forces have 'stabilized the situation and have begun to gradually push the enemy out of the border areas.' He also pointed out that 'the enemy is suffering very significant losses, both in terms of personnel and equipment.'
