Russia's Response Will Be Immediate and Painful: Zakharova

Russia is warning political figures from the European Union and NATO countries that any further aggressive actions regarding Ukraine will result in an immediate and painful response from Russia. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during a press briefing.

According to her, the political figures in the European Union “refuse to think not only sensibly and foresightedly, but simply in accordance with their attitudes. They are losing their sense of reality and are completely disregarding the risks of further dangerous escalation of the conflict, even in the context of their own interests.”

“We want to warn such irresponsible political figures in the EU, NATO countries, and across the ocean. In case of corresponding aggressive actions by the Kyiv regime, Russia's response will be immediate. I believe that much of this you have already seen in recent days. And the responses will be extremely painful,” Zakharova stated.
