It Will Be Not a 'Victory Program' but a 'Disaster Program': Zakharova

The situation on the front for the Ukrainian Armed Forces is rapidly deteriorating, which is linked to Kyiv's attempts to eliminate restrictions on strikes within Russian territory. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during a briefing at the Eastern Economic Forum.

“As you know, the Kyiv regime and its Western curators continue to engage in propaganda against us, as they have framed it. The infamous strategic defeat of the Ukrainian armed forces under steadily worsening circumstances has prompted the Kyiv regime to push forward some new plan, as they describe it,” the diplomat said.

Zakharova noted that for Kyiv, this will be not a 'victory program,' as the Ukrainian authorities expect, but a 'disaster program.' “The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umierov, has conveyed a list of targets discovered on Russian territory to American curators. What does this activity by Zelensky's regime indicate? It indicates that they are completely detached from reality. It indicates that they have absolutely no regard for anyone in Ukrainian territory—neither their citizens nor those whom they have forcibly conscripted into the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the diplomat continued.
