Rain Expected in Some Regions: Weather Forecast in Armenia

In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, rain and thunderstorms are expected in some areas after noon on August 20 and August 23. Between August 21-22 and on the 24th, dry weather is anticipated.

The wind will be south-western at a speed of 2-5 m/s, with wind gusts expected to increase to 17-20 m/s during thunderstorms. In the evening hours on August 20, 23-24, wind intensification is expected in Armavir, Kotayk, and the foothills of Aragatsotn, with speeds reaching 17-21 m/s.

In Yerevan, no precipitation is expected from August 20-24. In the evening on August 20, and on August 23-24, wind intensification is forecasted with a speed of 16-20 m/s. The temperature in the capital on August 20 will reach 35-37 degrees Celsius during the day, dropping to +27...+29 degrees in the evening.
