Nurse and Educator Regularly Subjected Children to Physical Abuse and Brutal Beatings, Reports Say

On August 15, operational information was received by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Shirak Regional Police and the Mush Police Department, indicating that a 45-year-old nurse and a 51-year-old educator at one of the educational institutions in Shirak region regularly subjected school children to physical violence and showed cruel treatment towards them.

"Officials from the police visited the mentioned educational institution and confirmed that the received operational information was credible. All of this was recorded via surveillance cameras installed at the institution. Relevant documents have been prepared at the Mush Police Department regarding the incident, which have been forwarded to the Shirak Regional Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee.
