Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense Statement Does Not Reflect Reality, Says Armenian Defense Ministry

The statement from Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense, which claims that on August 16 at 03:20, Armenian Armed Forces units opened fire towards Azerbaijani positions located in the western part of the border zone, does not reflect reality. This was reported by the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

It is noteworthy that the Government of the Republic of Armenia has suggested to the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, through diplomatic channels, the establishment of a bilateral mechanism to investigate incidents of ceasefire violations.
