The situation in the Belaya region of Russia's Kursk Oblast is tense, prompting authorities to call on residents for voluntary evacuation. This was reported by the regional head Nikolai Volobuev on Telegram.

"The situation is very tense. Those who can arrive independently at the collection point of the Dolgiye Budi village council or the Bushmeno village in the Ogoian district will be provided with buses. We ask all remaining residents to leave the area," he wrote.
