Rostec Announces Record Volume of Russian Weapons Orders

The portfolio of export orders for Russian military products has for the first time exceeded $60 billion, stated Vladimir Artyakov, the first deputy director general of the Rostec State Corporation, in an interview with RIA Novosti on the occasion of the Army-2024 international military-technical conference.

“Since the beginning of the special military operation, despite sanctions, we have seen a record increase in interest in Russian weapons worldwide. The export order portfolio has surpassed $60 billion; this has never happened before,” said the agency's interlocutor.

He noted that there is already good demand for certain samples of weapons, which the state corporation will fulfill after meeting the needs of the Russian army.

It is noteworthy that the Army-2024 international military-technical forum is starting today at the Patriot Park of the Russian Ministry of Defense. More than 20,000 exhibits of military and dual-use products will be presented at the forum. It has been reported that exhibitions of military-purpose products and samples from industrial and technical enterprises of the Russian Ministry of Defense have been organized in the open areas of the Patriot.

The forum will be attended by more than 120 foreign companies, and military delegations from 110 foreign countries have been invited. On August 13, a ceremony is scheduled for the signing of state contracts between the Russian Ministry of Defense and Russian defense enterprises, as well as international agreements with Rosoboronexport and entities of military-technical cooperation.

The Army-2024 forum will be held from August 12 to 14 at the Patriot Park near Moscow.
