Moscow Deeply Shocked by the Incident: Zakharova
The Russian side has called on Israel to refrain from attacking civilian facilities in Gaza. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, on her Telegram channel.
“At the time of the attack, there were more than two thousand refugees there. According to Palestinian sources, over 100 people have died as a result of this assault, dozens have been injured, and many are trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings. Among the deceased are women and children. Moscow is deeply shocked by what has happened. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the relatives of the victims,” Zakharova emphasized.
She noted that such tragedies disrupt efforts to prematurely cease hostilities and exchange prisoners,” she announced, as reported by TASS.
