VIDEO: Arthur Aleksanyan Advances to Olympic Games Semi-Finals

The wrestler from Gyumri defeated his representative from Uzbekistan.

Arthur Aleksanyan, a member of the Armenian wrestling team and a gold, silver, and bronze medalist at the Olympic Games, as well as a four-time world champion and seven-time European champion, has advanced to the finals of the Olympic Games in the 97 kg category.

The Greco-Roman wrestler won against Rustam Asakalov from Uzbekistan with a score of 9:5. It is still unclear who Aleksanyan's opponent will be in the finals.

It is worth mentioning that Malkhas Amoyan (77 kg) has also reached the finals representing Armenia.
