Hamas Leader Killed Due to WhatsApp: New Details
Israeli intelligence tracked the Hamas leader through the WhatsApp messaging application, according to Lebanese journalist Elia Maniyeh.
He stated that spying software was installed on Haniya's phone via a WhatsApp message. This enabled the precise location of the Hamas leader’s residence to be revealed, leading to a drone strike on that location.
