Russia to Provide Water and Medical Assistance to People Waiting at the Border with Georgia

The Russian side will provide water and medical assistance to all those waiting for the opening of the road at the border with Georgia, announced the head of North Ossetia, Sergey Menyaylo.

According to him, traffic at the "Verkhniy Lars" checkpoint will be restricted from August 6 at 01:00 until further notice.

"Currently, over a thousand passenger vehicles are waiting for traffic in the republic. People are heading to a neighboring country for vacation, but they are forced to delay. We will provide them with all necessary assistance," wrote Menyaylo on his Telegram channel.
