Body of 12-Year-Old Child Retrieved from Debris: Details on the Explosion in Shirak Province
On August 1st, at 06:16, the crisis management center of the Shirak regional rescue service received information about an explosion with a collapse in one of the houses on 1st Street in the village of Voskeshask; rescue assistance was required.
An operational team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, along with two firefighting units, was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that, under still undisclosed circumstances, an explosion occurred in one of the buildings on the 4th alley of 1st Street, resulting in the hospitalization of N. Kh. (born in 1993) and P. Kh. (born in 1967), whose health conditions were assessed as moderate severity.
Rescuers retrieved the body of L. Kh. (born in 2012) from the debris, and emergency medical personnel confirmed the child's death. The rescuers transported the body to the ambulance.
