Former Girlfriend of Chagh Rustam Interacts with Fazi: Details on the Motives Behind the Murder

New details have emerged regarding the murder of criminal authority ‘Fazi’, Sergey Grigoryan. During a broadcast on public television, Arthur Ayvazyan, a senior investigator from the Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence Division of the RA National Security Service, revealed that the conflict between Grigoryan and ‘Chagh Rustam’—Rustam Stepanyan—began in 2018 over a woman.

‘Rustam Stepanyan's former girlfriend began a relationship with Sergey Grigoryan. During this time, abusive messages were posted on the Instagram page of one of Rustam Stepanyan's close friends directed at this woman, which also involved Sergey Grigoryan,’ Ayvazyan stated.

The investigation has uncovered that numerous incidents have taken place since 2018, including kidnapping, acts of violence, and mutual shootings. It has also emerged that the two aforementioned individuals personally participated in several of these incidents.

Recall that 43-year-old Sergey Grigoryan, also known as ‘Fazi’, was murdered on June 11 at around 11:15 PM on Shinaran Street in Yerevan. Criminal proceedings have been initiated against four individuals for the murder of ‘Fazi’. The two organizers, R. Stepanyan and A. Kyureghyan, have been detained.
