Australia Again Urges Its Citizens to Leave Lebanon
The Prime Minister of Australia, Anthony Albanese, has warned that the conflict in the Middle East may escalate following the assassination of Hezbollah representative Shakuri and Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh, according to SBS.
The country's authorities have cautioned that in the event of commercial flights being halted from Beirut, departing the country could become impossible.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Penny Wong stated that "now is the time" for Australians in Lebanon to leave the country.
