Paris 2024: Davit Chalogyan Advances to Quarterfinals with Victory

The only representative of Armenia in the Olympic boxing tournament, Davit Chalogyan, started his Paris Games journey with a victory. In the +92 kg weight category, Chalogyan defeated British boxer Delicious Ori by a score of 3:2.

In the first round, the British boxer won all the judges' votes. However, in the second round, three out of five judges awarded the victory to Chalogyan. The Armenian boxer secured his win in the third round with four judges favoring him.

Chalogyan will compete in the quarterfinals on August 2, where his opponent will be Spain's Ayub Ghadfan.
