The world champion and three-time European champion competed in the 1/8 finals of the Greco-Roman wrestling Olympic tournament in the 77 kg category against Finland's Jonni Kunar Sarkanin, the 2021 Junior European Champion, 2022 M20 European runner-up, and 2023 M23 European Champion, and won impressively with a score of 9-0.
