20-Year-Old Driver Who Died in Accident Was a Serviceman: New Details
Earlier today, we reported that on July 29, at 00:37, the crisis management center of the Vayots Dzor regional rescue department received a call regarding a traffic accident near the intersection of Kechut village, with casualties and the need for rescue assistance.
According to shamshyan.com, new details regarding the accident have emerged. Rescuers extracted the driver’s body from the vehicle using specialized equipment. Following this, the rescuers positioned the body near the ambulance, disconnected the vehicle’s battery, closed the gas valve, and established a duty at the scene.
A criminal case has been initiated by the investigative department due to the circumstances of the accident. According to the website’s information, the driver was serving in the Armenian Ministry of Defense's military unit.
As per the investigator's directive, the vehicle, which was turned into a mass of metal, was transferred to the special storage area of the police department in Jermuk.
