Weather Forecast: Heavy Rain Expected

In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, rain and thunderstorms are expected in significant parts of the regions on July 27-28, and during the night of the 29th, with heavy rain possible in certain areas. Additionally, brief rain and thunderstorms are anticipated on the afternoon of July 29 and during the day on July 31. Weather is expected to be dry without precipitation on July 30 and the night of July 31.

This information is provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations. The wind will blow from the northeast at a speed of 2-5 m/s, with expected gusts of 18-23 m/s during thunderstorms. In the evening hours, wind gusts of 17-20 m/s are expected in Armavir, as well as in the foothills of Kotayk and Aragatsotn.

The temperature is expected to drop by 2-5 degrees during the day on the 28th. In Yerevan, rain and thunderstorms are also expected on July 27-28 and during the night of the 29th, with heavy rainfall in certain parts of the city. No precipitation is forecast for July 29 and from July 30 to 31. Additionally, wind gusts during thunderstorms are expected to reach 18-22 m/s, and in the evening hours, 17-20 m/s.

The temperature in the capital on the afternoon of July 27 is expected to be between 31-33 degrees, while in the evening hours it will be recorded at +24 to +26 degrees.
