New Regulations for Border Crossers via Ground Transport or on Foot Starting August 19
The State Revenue Committee informs that, according to the decision number 1206-N of the Government of the Republic of Armenia dated August 8, 2024, from August 19, 2024, the exemption threshold for the import of goods for personal use transported by individuals from non-Eurasian Economic Union countries via ground transport or on foot, with or without accompanying luggage, has been reduced.
Specifically, until August 18, 2024, inclusive, personal use goods equivalent to 500 euros and/or weighing no more than 25 kilograms could be imported to the Republic of Armenia without paying customs duties and taxes. However, starting August 19, 2024, this amount cannot exceed the equivalent of 200 euros and/or 10 kilograms.
At the same time, the Committee informs that the new thresholds will be applied to personal use goods transported across the border via ground transport or on foot starting August 19, 2024.
