VIDEO: Snoop Dogg Participates in Olympic Torch Relay

American rapper Snoop Dogg participated in the Olympic torch relay in Paris ahead of the 2024 Summer Olympics. The 52-year-old rapper carried the Olympic flame near the Stade de France.

The opening ceremony of the Summer Olympics is set to take place on July 26, along the banks of the Seine River, with competitions continuing until August 11.

In late February 2022, the International Olympic Committee issued a statement to international sports federations advising them to exclude Russian and Belarusian athletes from any competitions. By the end of 2023, the organization decided to allow Russian and Belarusian athletes to compete as neutral athletes before the 2024 Olympic Games, provided they meet a series of requirements and qualify.
