The 33rd Summer Olympic Games Kick Off Today in Paris

The 33rd Summer Olympic Games are set to commence today in Paris and will continue until August 11. Over 10,000 athletes from 206 national teams will participate, along with neutral athletes from Russia and Belarus.

This marks the third time that the French capital has hosted the Summer Olympic Games. Competitions will take place at 35 sports venues, with 329 medals to be awarded across 32 sports.

The Paris Olympics have already broken records, with 8.6 million tickets sold—an all-time high in the history of the Olympic Games.
