Pashinyan Takes Steps He Criticized While in Opposition: "Zhoghovurd"

"Zhoghovurd" newspaper writes: "Nikol Pashinyan is now taking steps that he criticized and deemed unacceptable while in opposition. This is reported by the "Zhoghovurd" newspaper.

Official documents obtained by "Zhoghovurd" reveal that since 2014, the newspaper "Haykakan Zhamanak" has been owned by Pashinyan's civil in-law. For example, while Pashinyan deemed Suren Khachatryan's doctorate ridiculous and criticized Gagik Khachatryan for registering businesses under the names of all his relatives, it turns out that he also registered the company "Dareskizb"—essentially the newspaper "Haykakan Zhamanak"—under the name of Anna Hakobyan's retired, apolitical mother, who is entirely distanced from business and politics.

After the revolution, law enforcement agencies have numerous proceedings regarding "actual beneficiaries" and "fake" actual beneficiaries, but these investigations only target opposition members. The real incomes and interests of Pashinyan and his family become "invisible" to the eyes of law enforcement.
