Vahagan Khachaturyan Receives Delegation from Save Armenia Union
President Vahagan Khachaturyan has received a delegation from the Save Armenia Union (Փրկիր Հայաստանը), a Judeo-Christian organization. This was reported by the President's office.
The union officially commenced its activities in 2024, aiming to unite global Christian communities to support Armenia.
During their visit to Armenia, the delegation will hold discussions on issues related to Armenia-U.S. relations, the socio-economic needs of forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh, and the destruction of religious monuments in Nagorno-Karabakh by Azerbaijan.
The President welcomed the delegation's visit to Armenia and noted that such meetings are a good opportunity to get to know each other better and to strengthen the friendly ties between the two nations.
President Khachaturyan outlined the democratic reforms implemented in Armenia's political and economic life and the steps taken towards strengthening democratic institutions.
He emphasized that Armenia aims to bolster democratic institutions through comprehensive reforms, promote economic development, and bring innovative ideas to life.
Regarding Armenian-American relations, the President stated that they exhibit very clear and positive dynamics, expressing confidence that this trend will continue.
Discussing the regional situation, the President noted that the Armenian side highly appreciates the support of the U.S. government in efforts to establish stable and lasting peace in the South Caucasus.
According to the President, establishing peace and regulating relations with neighboring countries is a priority for our country, and the Armenian side is consistent in its vision and efforts towards peace.
