Kremlin Comments on Biden's Decision to Exit the Election Race

The priority for the Russian Federation is to achieve the objectives of the special operation, rather than the results of the U.S. elections, stated Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia.

Recall that Joe Biden has exited the race for the U.S. presidential elections. The current President of the United States announced this on his microblog on X.

“As a nation, we have made significant progress over the last three and a half years. Today, America has the strongest economy in the world. America has never been in a better position to play a leading role than it is today. I know that none of this would have been possible without you, the American people. Together we have overcome the pandemic and the largest economic crisis since the Great Depression. We have protected and preserved our democracy. We have revitalized and strengthened our alliances around the world. It has been a great honor for me to be part of your presidency. Although I intended to run for reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and my country that I exit the race and focus on fulfilling my presidential duties for the remainder of my term. I will provide more details to the people about my decision later this week,” wrote Biden.

He also stated that he fully supports Vice President Kamala Harris as the unified candidate for the Democratic Party.
