Armenian Foreign Ministry Responds to Azerbaijani Statement

The latest statement by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense regarding alleged provocative actions by the Armenian army along the state border between Armenia and Azerbaijan is unclear, according to the Armenian Foreign Ministry.

Efforts to draw Armenia into an escalation of rhetoric are unacceptable. The Armenian government remains committed to the peace agenda and will not deviate from this strategy.

Regarding the acquisition of arms and equipment for the Armenian Armed Forces, Armenia operates exclusively within the framework of international law during the military reform process.

Previously, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense issued a statement claiming that today, around 10:55 AM, a drone belonging to the Armenian Armed Forces attempted to conduct reconnaissance flights over Azerbaijani positions.
