Car Accident on Yerevan-Sevan Highway: Casualties Reported

On July 20, at 16:59, the emergency management center of the Kotayk regional rescue service received a call regarding a collision involving three vehicles on the Yerevan-Sevan highway, resulting in injuries.

A team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue service and a rescue group from the Special Rescue Operations Center were dispatched to the scene.

It was revealed that near the 20th kilometer of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, a freight truck of the "Mitsubishi" brand collided with vehicles of the "Kia" and "Honda" brands. The driver of the Honda vehicle, identified as E. M., born in 1982, died at the scene.

Prior to the arrival of the rescuers, three injured individuals were transported to various medical centers.

The rescuers disconnected the power supply to the vehicles, removed E. M.'s body, and brought it to a vehicle for transport.
