UK Defence Secretary Does Not Rule Out Ukraine Hitting Targets in Russia with Storm Shadow Missiles
The UK Defence Secretary has suggested that Ukraine could use Storm Shadow missiles to target Russia. In an interview with BBC Radio 4's Today program, Jon Healey stated that the provision of these missiles does not impede President Zelenskyy from utilizing them against targets in Russia, according to The Telegraph.
“We are supplying weapons for the defense of a sovereign country. And that does not prevent them from hitting targets in Russia. But it must be done within the framework of international humanitarian law. We are continuing very intense negotiations with the Ukrainians because as a country, we want to do everything possible to support their fight for freedom,” said the British minister.
